Finning is gearing up for this summer’s World Cup and getting right behind the England team by flying the flag in the biggest way it possibly could.

A twenty foot flag displayed in the dump body of a 90 tonne Caterpillar 777F Off Highway Truck at its headquarters in Cannock leaves passers by in no doubt as to where allegiances lie come the 11th June kick off. Finning is also giving away 50 sets of ‘Union Flagged’ CAT hats and safety glasses for those subscribing to Lastability®.

The presence of the England flag draped across the massive 777F, emblazoned with the words ‘Come on England!’ has already been causing quite a stir in the local area, with local football fans stopping on the A5 in Cannock to have their pictures taken next to the huge machine and flag. And this is precisely what the staff at Finning’s Headquarters took the opportunity to do. Several excited members of staff assembled at the flag to have their picture taken next to the eyecatching spectacle.

Amongst those having their picture taken was Finning General Sales Manager, Gary Agnew, “ We wanted to show our support in the biggest way we could, and what better than a 90 tonne CAT 777F truck? It’s great for everybody here, and across our 19 UK branches to show their support and really celebrate the World Cup. We all wish the team the best of luck, and hopefully in a month’s time we’ll be celebrating that elusive second World Cup win.”

To get hold of one of 50 sets of Union Flagged CAT hats and safety glasses, all football fans have to do is register at Finning’s Lastability® site by visiting www.lastability.com.
